As'salaamu alaikum everyone!
Hope you are all well. Just to clarify one point insha'Allah, it is not compulsory for students to memorise the Jazariyya. It is only a recommendation as it will give students the opportunity to receive Ijaza on the poem from one of the greatest teachers of Tajweed of this century. So if you are looking to simply practice and perfect your tajweed under one of the highest authorities of Tajweed in the world today then this course is right for you. Once you enrol, you will be given the Jazariyya pack anyway as part of your course materials so you have the choice of memorising the poem. However, we would encourage students to at least attempt the task as chances like these come very rarely and only to a few of us. It's not very often that we get the chance or the honour of learning under experts such as Shaykh Madkour. Imagine this...students in Egypt would be lucky to have even an hour of this Shaykh's time so that they can read to him. You'll have several hours of learning from and reciting to this Shaykh for 10 days! There's no cost of flying abroad either, the Shaykh is coming here, to London just for you. Insha'Allah, take advantage of that while you can.
Wa salaam wa rahmatullah. |
