Thanks...I'm sorry to say I don't know that much about the Koran so I'm here to learn...our similaries and differences...

We don't believe it was given as a test...we believe Adam and Eve where our representives here on earth...and they blew it...
Since that time we needed away back to God so we could return back to him...sinless in his sight...He tells us many times, he will turn his face from us if we sin, so there is no point praying etc to him because he will ignore our prayers...
God ordered animal scarifices...so the Jewish did those once a year, and they will do them again...once their temple is re-built in Jerusalam...
But God tell us in the OT that still wasn't enough to pay for our sins.(the Blood of an unblemished animal)..
We understand because God is so Holy and pure he cannot abide the sight of sin and turns away from it...all sin..Jesus tells us if you commit one sin, we have committed all sins.
God choose blood to cover and pay for their sins..all through the OT. But His plan was to make an everlasting conevent..with us..so He turned his word into flesh which is Jesus...he then scarificed himself for us...
We has Chrisitans now believe we can now have communion again with God...like Adam and Eve did before they fell.
So for us it isn't really like a test...it's if we choose to live with our Holy Father God for eternity or die.
