ASS SALAAMU AALYKUM

And there's sawm daawuud:

narrated abdilah bin amr ibn aasi.the prophet said to me : you observe sawm daily all the year and offer salat all the night ?
ireplied in the affirmative . the prphet said: if you keep on doing this, your eyes will become weak and your body will egt tired. he who observes sawm all the year is as he who did not sawm at all . observing sawm on three days willbe equal to observing sawm of the whole year.
i replied : i ahve the strentgh for more than this!
the prophet said: then observe sawm like the fasting of dawuud who used to observe sawm on alternate days and would never flee from the battle field on meeting the enemy!!.......

and in another hadeth by ibn amr'
" there is no sawm superior to that of the prophet daawuud it was half of the year , so observe on alternate days...."

and i mentioned the aashuraa right
