According sunnah and explanations of the scholars, we move our finger up and down, from teh start of tasyahud till the end. UP AND DOWN, and I saw my asatudhah move it not fast and also not too slow, and there are some muslims who move it like a circle, and its wrong. Or there are some of them who raise their finger only when they say "asyhadu alla ilaha ilallah" and its also wrong. Its the opinion of Imam Syaifii and in this matter He -rahimahullah- is wrong, and its corrected by Imam Nawawi, and ulama mutaakhireen. And also Theres no explanation form the scholars about moving the finger cyrcling or raise it in "asyhadualla...".
So the right attitude is move it up and down. And Imam Ahmad narated, Rasulullah shalallahu alaihi wasallam said "the moving of the fingers felt heavy by syaithon". Allahu A'lam.[/color]
