3an abee ya3laa shaddaad bin aws radhiya Allahu anhu, the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said "verily Allah has written al ihsaan for everything, so if you kill then kill in the best way,and if you slaughter slaughter in the best way, and one is ordered to sharpen his weapon and to relax the animal"

Rafi3 bin khadeej radhiya Allahu anhu narrated that he said o messenger of Allah verily tommorow we meet the enemy and we do not have any knives, the prophet said be sure you prepare that which will make the blood flow and say bismillaah..

Not using the tooth or the nail to slaughter

In the same hadeeth the rpophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said:
"and not the tooth or nail, as for the tooth because it is a bone, an as for the nail because its the knife of the abyssinians"
