bismillaah, al-hamdu-lillaah was-salaatu was-salaamu 'alaa rasoo-lillaah, wa ba'd:

It is with regret we inform all our brothers and sisters that there has unfortunately been some error and confusion in the news which was relayed to us concerning the start of the month of muharram; subsequently, the day of 'aashooraa will actually be as we initially reported, as follows:

09 muharram = thursday 17 january 2008
10 muharram (day of 'aashooraa) = friday 18 january 2008
11 muharram = saturday 19 january 2008
