ahem ahem Henna is only green in powder form. Once the powder is mixed with water and applied to skin it leaves an orangey/ browny tint. Applying oil to the skin after washing the dried henna off can enhance the colour. Coffee can also be added to the mixture for the same purpose before applying.

(If it's another colour that's becuz synthetic dyes have been added to it.)
