well you should look what you say, you said, you as in me, as in manz, as in I

and regarding the post, it says the Prophet (saw) was infallible with the message - that what sheikh ibn Taymiyyah says, im not gona sit here saying so and so is wrong or so and so is right lol, i believe the Prophet (saw) was a perfectoo man, end off, like in the Quraan we are told he is a perfect example for us, so he is perfect! also what we need to remember he was human aswell, and im sure you agree with this ...

that Allah (swt) told RasoolAllah (saw) a better course of action to take, then the one RasoolAllah (saw) chose? - like with the war captives ....

and like he says in the hadiths, “I am only a human being like you. If I tell you to do something with regard to religion, then follow it, but if I tell you to do something based on my own opinion, I am only a human being.” (narrated by Muslim, 2361).

so there was on times, when RasoolAllah (saw) was reminded by Allah (swt) and reminded by some sahaba, not to do a certain thing or they adviced him againist it innay

now it depends if you wana class that as a mistake or not

it depends on the wording innit,

but the main point is, we all know the Prophet (Saw) is perfect! and we love him soo soo much, so lets stop bickering

I Believe Like the Salaf believed he SAWS was perfect and Infallible , the best of Allah SWT creation and a mercy to mankind full stop.

How can I insult my prophet SAWS by saying he SAWS had small sins ? Didnt Allah SWT

009.128
YUSUFALI: Now hath come unto you a Messenger from amongst yourselves: it grieves him that ye should perish: ardently anxious is he over you: to the Believers is he most kind and merciful.
PICKTHAL: There hath come unto you a messenger, (one) of yourselves, unto whom aught that ye are overburdened is grievous, full of concern for you, for the believers full of pity, merciful.
SHAKIR: Certainly a Messenger has come to you from among yourselves; grievous to him is your falling into distress, excessively solicitous respecting you; to the believers (he is) compassionate,

009.129
YUSUFALI: But if they turn away, Say: "Allah sufficeth me: there is no god but He: On Him is my trust,- He the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme!"
PICKTHAL: Now, if they turn away (O Muhammad) say: Allah sufficeth me. There is no Allah save Him. In Him have I put my trust, and He is Lord of the Tremendous Throne.
SHAKIR: But if they turn back, say: Allah is sufficient for me, there is no god but He; on Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of mighty power.

So I will reject the fatwa whoever posted just cause it has that Line in it of small sins .

Sorry

Yes indeed I am a sunni and what I said was the sunni position so I think it would be best if you properly researched what sunnis believe in this issue.

Please bring your proof that the salaf said that the Prophet was infallable in every way, if you are truthful.

By the way - how do you understand the first few verses of surat 'Abasa if you think Muhammad pbuh was infallable? Ibn Kathir - one of the most respected SUNNI books of tafsir - says the verses refer to when Muhammad pbuh looked away from the blind man, and he was admonished for that. What do you say then?

And I'm still waiting for the reply to my point about Prophet Yunus (something other than asking me if I am sunni please). I would sincerely like to know your position on that - unless your view is that only Muhammad pbuh was infallible?

Proof please. No case has been 'closed'. Just because this view is of the khalaf does not mean it is not the view of the salaf too.

Many proofs have been posted to support the view that he pbuh was only infallable in matters of the religion - you have yet to give any proof that he was 100% infallible.

Some real proof would be nice.

Well then I suggest you read the first post of the thread, I reject ibn Taymiyas fatwa , He was a scholar who made mistakes .

The prophet SAWS was In falible , If he was Allah SWT best creation it means he SAWS is better than the angels who obey Allah SWT every command .

So please stop looking for faults in this great prophet , who will be Your Shafee3 and whom you cant have Allah mercy wothout him .

Contemplate .
