Khalaf = later generations of scholars.

As for the first post, it said:

Quote:
It is my creed that the Prophets are sinless. In agreement with what has been said by Imam Abu Hanifah in his Fiqh ul Akbar, Imams Nawawi in his Sharh ul Muslim, V. 3, pp. 53-55 and Qadi Iyad Ibn Musa in his classical work Ash-Shifaa. I am interested in seeing the said works in Salafi publications and anything that fairly confirms or refutes these suggestions.
My understanding is that this means they are sinless in the sense that they were forgiven for all their sins, because the Prophet Muhammad pbuh said that the one who repents is like the one who never sinned. Therefore the Prophets are sinless in that respect. Allahu A'lam.

Otherwise, I ask you again, if they never made mistakes, why did Prophet Yunus leave his people before being allowed too? why did Allah punish him by having him swallowed by the whale? Why was he only released when he asked Allah to forgive him?

Also, the first post doesn't mention anything about being infallible, just sinful (two very different things).

See it as You like , The same way I see Your Khalaf scholars as wrong .

The prophet صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم Was infalible , because he was and Is and will be the best of Allah SWT creation thats enough to see him صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم as infallible .

I'm not asking for a mircale... just proof.

If you don't have proof just say so otherwise we are all wasting our time here.

probably because they were the utmost fearing of allah, perhaps they are the ones with the strongest love for allah (of course after the prophet and the comapnions)...for god sake would you follow someones opinion if they were a sinner no, obviously you would trust one who has a strong fear and love of allah.

My apologies, I must have missed it. Can you direct me to the post that had the proof in it?

so that means you deny the story of Hadhrat Abdullah ibn Maktum (Ra), in surah abasa?

erm the hadiths about the dates?

now you cant say these are khalaf scholar sources, these are from the Quraan and Sunnah ...
