Brother asked a very good question ;what does Alif Laam Meem means ,
Glad to hear from you , these type of questions put many non-muslims as well as muslims brother and sister that what does it mean . Some may say that only Allah-tabarak-otaa'la knows the meaning of these words .. basically the best answer is that when the Holy Quran was revealed at that time the arabs were so experties poet who denied that Holy Prophet S.A.W IS NOT THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH and the Holy Quran is the handiwork of Prophet Muhammad S.A.W then ALLAH said oh ! people of arabs you are the champions in arabic and Holy Quran is revealed in arabic , these words Alif ,Laam ,Meem ,YA'seen and many other words then try to make a surah with the help of these words and the challenge is shrinked and Allah said in surah baqrah , try to make even a single surah similar to Quran-e-Majeed and definitely you will not be able to make it so fear Allah .

Thank you . It is the grace of ALLAH Tabarak-o-Ta'ala , i am just a student and i try my best to clear the misconception of non-muslims as well as muslims .

Alif laam meem, [these letters of the Quan are one of the miracles of Allah and none but he knows it's meanings]

Also, it is said that we should not pursue knowledge that is concealed by Allah.....
