They are one and the same.

Here's the thing:
If Jesus (PBUH) died on the cross for your sins and you accept him into your life, you are guranteed a place in heaven, then why all the judgement? Aren't you guranteed?

If Jesus (PBUH) is doing all the judging, then who is God? Secondary to Jesus (PBUH)?

I really do not understand this thought or beleif..

I think that many Christians are themselves confused on this, so it is not surprising that their conversation might have also confused you.

The language of judgment is used to draw an analogy from the judgment of a courtroom experience. So, let's delve into that experience a little more.

In a court the accused is just that accused. In the USA today such a person is not seen as guilt, but innocent until proven guilty. However, this was not always so. In other courts one who is accused must prove himself innocent, and if he does not then he already knows what is going to happen for that judgment has been rendered even before he is placed on trial. The Christian however has an advocate, Jesus Christ, who is able to make an appeal for the Christians defense. Because of the Christ's unique connection with the Father, he is able to have his own righteousness imputed to us and to take upon himself our own sins. This happens even before we face judgment, and so we know that we stand already clean before the judgment seat, and know that there is no real judgment of our guilt or innocence at that point in time, that decision having already been made when we placed our trust in Christ. However, those who do not have this relationship with Christ do face real judgment.

Now, I fear I might have actually made this more, not less confusing. So let me try short answers to your questions:

Aren't you guranteed? Yes.

If Jesus (PBUH) is doing all the judging, then who is God? Secondary to Jesus (PBUH)? Jesus is God. Your question is like asking who gives orders to the troops: George Bush? The President? or The Commander-in-Chief?

So to say if you accept Jesus (PBUH) as your savior, your sins are forgiven? knowing that we are not perfect people, what about the sin's that many continue to commit? Your saying it's ok to continue to sin, because no matter what you are automaticly innocent?

Am I guranteed you asked? Well in my opinion, i'm not grater than you nor you I, so my answer would be I have as much chance as anyone does.

If Jesus (PBUH) is doing all the judging, then who is God? Secondary to Jesus (PBUH)? Jesus is God. Your question is like asking who gives orders to the troops: George Bush? The President? or The Commander-in-Chief? Is George Bush, the president, or the commander in cheif all the same? Of course not.

Jesus (PBUH) is God? then why exclude God's name and relace it with Jesus (PBUH) name, I mean they are the same right? You have stated that they are, so why all the differance if they are equal/same? If Jesus (PBUH) is there on judgement day to give his input and he is God then why all the judgement, for God is all knowing! Meaning God is all knowing of what choices we have already made, no need for an appeal by Jesus (PBUH).

No, it's not OK to sin. Faith in Christ does NOT give one a license to sin. It does offer one atonment for it. They are differnt. Known sin needs to continue to be confessed and repented of (repentance means a change in direction, in others words quit the sinning). But even people who have truly turned their life around and seek to serve God, living a holy and righteous life do sometimes sin unaware of what they have done, or left undone. Those whose have turned to trust in Christ for their salvation will not be condemned for these acts, Christ's sacrifice is a propitiation for these sins as well. However, choosing to sin is to seek one's own will over that of God's for your life, that is the same as turning your back on Christ's offering of forgiveness and means that you are not trusting in Christ but in your own righteouss. Unless one repents of that (changes back to living a life of submission to God in Jesus Christ), then the person will die in their sins and face the judgment for those sins, without Christ present as an advocate in their defense. Even they they call Christ "Lord, Lord," he will say to such a person, "Away from me, I never knew you."

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was trying to give you a short answer to your question as to whether I, as a Christian, was guaranteed.

We agree that I am not greater than you, that all equally valued by God and equally fall short of the glory of God. Thus, if depending on our own righteousness, we all equally have the same chance before God -- ZERO.

I think you are trying to turn an anaology into a documentary movie of the process, and in doing so you have found that not all of the parts fit. This is true with all analogies, they will break down if stretched beyond what they are trying to convey. Jesus parable in Matthew 25 is the reason that those Christians said that Jesus is the judge. But I have no problem with you saying that God is the judge. By either name, you will note that there is no trial in Matthew 25, only a verdict pronounced. Which is just what you are asking why it cannot be like that.

If Bush dies, there will still be a President and a Commander-in-Chief.

When Jesus died, it was just his body that died. God remains unchanged.

(P.S. There were NOT two other dieties, we only have one God.)

What is the meaning of the following verse?

Quote:
Isaiah 7:20
In that day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, which is in the parts beyond the River, even with the king of Assyria, the head and the hair of the feet: and it shall also consume the beard..

It is a metaphor about the destruction of Jerusalem, with the Assyrians as God's instrument, or razor. The beard was a symbol of pride, and to use a metaphor of shaving a beard in relation to a nation was to suggest that country would be completely disgraced.

I have questions regarding the laws of rape.

(Deuteronomy 22:28-29 NLT)

If a man is caught in the act of raping a young woman who is not engaged, he must pay fifty pieces of silver to her father. Then he must marry the young woman because he violated her, and he will never be allowed to divorce her.

(Deuteronomy 22:23-24 NAB)

If within the city a man comes upon a maiden who is betrothed, and has relations with her, you shall bring them both out of the gate of the city and there stone them to death: the girl because she did not cry out for help though she was in the city, and the man because he violated his neighbors wife.

Another question, for now.

Why does the Bible imply that God is a pervert?

Numbers 31: 25-40

25. And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
26. Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:
27. And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:
28. And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons,(including the little girls) and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:
29. Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.
30. And of the children of Israel's half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons(including the little girls), of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.
31. And Moses and Eleazar the priest did as the LORD commanded Moses.
32. And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,
33. And threescore and twelve thousand beeves,
34. And threescore and one thousand asses,
35. And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.
36. And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:
37. And the LORD'S tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen.
38. And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD'S tribute was threescore and twelve.
39. And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD'S tribute was threescore and one.
40. And the persons(including little girls) were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD'S tribute was thirty and two persons.(preteen girls)

Kahn, I can't find a version that reads as yours does. Maybe you have a bad translation.

But if I understand your question correctly, it basically boils down to asking, why would the Lord have given instruction/permission to the Israelites of that day to do something that we would think was an abomination today. Have I got the gist of your question?

In this thread , a Christian wrote that Jesus (p) will use his tongue as sword to kill the anti Christ (p) & others .

But in other forum , 2 Christians told me death of the anti Christ (p) will be a spritual death only. Jesus (p) won't hurt anyone physically.

So , pl. make some time for me to explain the matter. Or may be u can give me a good link to read about this event . Thanks .

From my understanding, there will not be any form of struggle. Meaning Christ will not have to "physically" do anything to destroy the antichrist. He will destroy the antichrist with the Spirit of His Mouth and the brightness of His coming.
