there are many other who have a story to tell of converting to islam who are even bigger celebrties but very faithful

For example, jermaine jackson who took the masala with him to the big brother house and read all 5 of his namaaz

Also danny williams a heavy weight champion boxer who is now a faithful muslim who was seen praying in his locker room for 7 hours straight

Salamualikum.
Well to the thread title i would answer as i am a revert to Islam, i would highly state how and why i reverted in short inshallah.
I reverted because i found Islam the correct religion for me and to ease my pains and difficulty away, To find the love which i was trying to grasp and to have someone there with me at all times. I reverted by reciting the Shadah.
I am a muslim now and i am happy i am a muslim. I love allah subhwnatallah ALOT it's hard to say within words but it's all in heart! Subhnallah.

Wow, these stories are very interesting!
My Dad told me about Cat Stephens a while ago, and when I saw his pictures, I was like :O!
Islam is the way to go, in my school when they teach Islam in my class, some non-Muslims or Christians or whatever get quite interested in it. The media makes it harder for them to convert in my opinion, they take us as devils.

I completely agree, it takes a lot of comittment and an inner drive for a person to take such a bold step, the only way it can be initiated is by making him/her face the absolute reality, making them realize that its NOT just another way to salvation or just another way to life. It is THE ONLY true path to identify and embrace! Praise be to Allah
