Hi, I dont know much about Islam & muslims, its new to me, I was wondering if a muslim could answer my question, its about the muslim extremists, no, i dont think all muslims are extremists, everybody has the right to be treated as equal unless they give people a reason not to be


my question was basically about these extremists who proclaim their disgust for the western world, mainly the UK and the USA

fair enough, i could see why they would think we are disgusting, we obsess over porn, we are materialistic, we dont care about others, etc

if that goes against what muslims believe then so be it


but what i dont get is why they insist on comming to the western world, only to proclaim their hate for it???

they maon about us, and the majority of muslim extremists in the UK claim benefits, they dont contribute, yet its the very people who they claim to hate whos taxes pay for their very existences

we hear of them dreaming of a muslim country, the UK and the USA embracing islam, but what reason would they possibly think 2 countries that have been christian since they day they were discovered would drop all their own beliefs and all convert to islam?

as for whether or not the USA or the UK could ever become Muslim, why not? Islam is a continuation of what the Prophet Jesus(as) preached, except that Muhammad(saws) was sent to all mankind while Jesus(as) was sent to the lost sheep of Israel.


there is also a little bit of arrogance there. there WERE people living in the Americas long before xtians showed up...

and the UK, well at least Britian was pretty darn pagan what with druidism and all...

I am a Muslim and it bugs me...

But, I suppose the reason why they would justify their absolute nonsense would probably boil down to an interview I heard last year where a news presenter was interviewing the Head of an Extremist Islamist organization in Britain that advocated the establishment of Shariah Law.

When the person was asked how it could even be considered feasible that Sharia Law should be established on a secular, Western country with Christian roots and tradition, he responded that Allah (God) created the Earth for everyone, and he had the right to establish Shariah anywhere on God's land.

But the majority of mainstream Muslims (if I'm right or not) do not conform to this vision of an idealized world, particularly in the wildly different circumstances that the world is in now.

doesnt Allah have a right to establish his shariah anywhere tho? that comment was justified, but honestly we need to start from the east and work towards the west. Just jumping at the west with nothing at hand is silly...

Once you convince your self that you, your religion, your gender, or your <Insert anything> is superior to all others, you can justify any thing you want.

This has nothing to do with 'elitism' it has to do with what is satisfactory to the heart and mind and beneficial to humanity.. I don't think 18th century French constitution is working in Lebanon or Egypt.. Do you? I don't see how the law of man is superior to the law of God!

What u have been saying is absolutely right, but you have to remember that these people and these concepts dont in any means represnt Islam. Islam can't be representedy by few youngmen with no experience in their religion nor the world.
