K i can tell ya one thing!

Where i live...its beauuutiful! u totally wanna live in this beautifully crappy--ahem i mean beautifully ...prettty, city...

this is our closest street...

this is our neighbors havin fun down the street

and THIS is how it looks outside in the middle of summer, which by the way is freeezing COLD! all you see is some arabs bouncin basketballs and usin the streets as soccer fields since theyr empty and no cops round....

Oh the best time to come to my pretty pretty area/city/COUNTRY is now, where it sounds like a beautiful war wit the crappy horrible lightless sparkless fireworks for the independence day...

Call a travel agent today!

At the present time I live in Evansville, Minnisota population 531 scattered over about 600 square miles. But, I spend most of my time in South Dakota on the Cheyenne River Sioux reservation and the Pine Ridge Oglala Sioux reservation.

My typical view of what I see looks like this:

Very quiet and peaceful. I seldom see more than one car on the road in a weeks time.

hmmm.... the concept "free mixing" must be a lot broader than i thought.
what i see here is people, who are anonymous, telling others where they live (no addresses), and why they would like to live in an islamic country, as well as what it's like to be muslim in their countries.
i see no flirting or inappropriate remarks between the sexes. i just see human beings sharing their thoughts and information.
where is the free mixing? it must be very subtle.
in general, i see very little going on on this forum that is inappropriate.

Outside of the large seaboard cities the USA is very sparsly populated. Much of the land being farmland or ranches. In the Central and Mid-West states it is common for the houses to be several miles apart and for cities to be hundreds of miles apart.

To put things in perspective the state of Minnesota, where I now live, is about 216,000 square KM or about 2/3 the size of the land area of Malaysia. But our total population is only 5 million about 1/5 the population of Malaysia. Most of those 5 million live in the Minneapolis area, the rest of the state is essentially vacant with a scattering of houses and dirt/gravel roads.

Over half of the USA states are far below the average population density of the total country average, which is high because of our 10 biggest cities, that only make up a minute part of the land aea.

Check this out over 40 of our states have a population densitiy of less than 100 people per Sq KM and over 25 have a density of less than 50 per Sq KM the less populated are less than 10 per Sq KM. We are a very sparsly populated country and have very much empty land. However, that is all farmland and does produce a very large percentage of the world's food.

60% of Malaysia are highlands, and over 50% of the country is covered by rainforests.

Only aborigines and Borneoan natives live in isolated villages deep in the rainforests.

I think 99% of the people live in the coastal areas...

I've been to the rainforests many times... I dont think I can ever live there...

I need electricity, fresh water supply and neighbours...and malls too...

Wow. Those pictures are breath taking mashaAllah. When you leave the big cities and go out to the quieter areas in America, it's just soo amazing.

I like living in California. Alhamdulillah being a Muslim here isn't difficult, I think cuz of the diversity of the area we're in. I don't really hang out with other Muslims though, even though there is a huge Muslim population out here. I go to the masjid occasionally and say salaam to some girls at college, but that's about it...

That made me think and do a search for some pictures. You are right like the USA, most of the population is in the small coastal regions and much of the country still has it's natual beauty.

I love what I see of Malaysia.
