There are some Israeli's who are against the occupation. You can hate the regime but not all Jews in Israel.

How do you define ccupation anway? West Bank and Gaza? Or is it the entire land taken from Muslims? If its the latter every single person living in the state of Israel (except of course the Arabs) is an occupier.

The international consensus is that gaza, the west bank, and east jerusalem are occupied illegally.

I agree. I am living in Canada and it is a better place to live than some places where I used to live in the middle east. I also lived in the states for 3 to 4 years. The US and Canada are giving us a place to live and also to pursue a better life than other countries. In regards to education, Canada also gives very good education for a good price but the people are just focusing on the negative things of the west for some reason. I don't understand why tho.. We have brothers and sisters in the west too and they are living happily with a peace of mind.

maybe you are right. BUt that is exactly why I am depressed. We are promised and given good worldly life by the West and we come here and then praise it. But over generations, our kids loose their identity of Islam. Its a given. Ive seen it within my own family despite having super religious and dominating parents.

The original inhabitants. Original is a strange word, yes, people whose lineage in the area dates back over, say 300 years. That would be Arab Christians and Muslims, some Turks probably, and undoubtedly a few Jews.

I agree and I am guilty aswell because I am also a muslim that has been brought up with the Islamic teachings but now I dont follow to much of Islam. However, I am still a good person and have good values in me. I know right from wrong and I am doing good in this world. There are people who aren't religious that are still good in heart but try to talk to them and understand them before you make judgments about that person. At the end of the day, your daughter/son has the right to make his decisions, well after 18 that is.

Anyways as a Father, you should take actions to make sure your kids aren't going the wrong way. I'm not sure how your kids are losing their identity of Islam. If they are in their teenage years they will go through a lot of problems and you have to be there to support them. I am 20 years old now and when I was a teenager I followed the wrong people because I didn't have support from my parents. They were busy with their work and my dad was travelling for business. I guarantee I would not have went through that stage if I had support from my parents. I knew that I was doing wrong in life and I had to look for answers. I had to rely on reading books to get my life straightened out and that's how I matured. Are you worried about your kids going to clubs/drinking/smoking/partying or are you worried that your kids wont pray even though they are doing good in school and have a positive outlook of the future?

They do nothing for the peace process and they continue this meaningless cycle of violence as much as the terrorists' suicide bombings and the firing of Qasam rockets do. And Jews and Muslims can live in peace.

Why is West Bank considered illegally occupied and all the land acquired by Israel in 1948 war is not?
