Mermaids are fictional creatures and dont really exist.
Best to my knowledge they are from Viking Mythology.

Salaam.
You're right, shame on me. I'm sorry Islamgyal.
However there's no denying that such a thing as a mermaid can exist, but none have been found, ever. God can create a half fish-half woman, but to this day none have been seen.

If you think about it but who would want a fishy woman anyways lool
Salaam.
Don't put anything past anyone man... you didn't think a dolphin could make a good husband did you.

lol ya tell me about it.
Well sorry about my posts I just thought that it was a simple no they do not exist. I was just a little confused to see people debating whether or not they do exist. Mermaids are mythical and the probability of them existing has the same probability as an elephant man existing.
An Israeli woman married one the other day.![]()

Done. http://www.rotten.com/library/sideshow/elephant-man/

lol bro Z but the dolphin isnt a half man
The myth about Mermaids is that:
- They live under the ocean
- Are extremely beautiful
- During certain periods in a month (if i remember its a full moon) they become proper women with legs and all
- If they fall in love with a human male and marry him, they become human forever and forget they were ever mermaids
- They eat dolphins and other innocent animals of the ocean
- The wear turbans and ride sea camels
lol ok i made the last 2 up...but thats all know![]()
Mermaids are dolphins and dugong!!!![]()
:sister: Salam Alaykum...
This is kind of funny...but, i am going to say it now..MERMAIDS DO NOT EXIST AND THEY NEVER HAVE..they were right earlier to say that it comes from viking mythology and some guy named Hans Christian Anderson wrote an book about a mermaid(my mom got me the book as a kid) and suddenly everyone believes in them...I have heard that some people used to say they existed in florida, but they found out they were manatee's u should look them up as they are far more interesting and really do exist!!!:sister:
So look up the word Manatee in
google much much more interesting!
