Why in my prayer book am I doing more than what I found on www.quran.org/salathow.htm.

I say in the beginning before Al-Fatihah

Subhanaka Alahumma Wa Hamdikah

Wa Tabruka smuka wa ta ala jaduh ka........

wa la giruka

And after I say Al-Fatihah I say 1 Surah then I go into ruku


And then after I prostrate the 1st time I say

Rabi girfir li wadi da (Lord please forgive my parents)

then I prostrate again then to Tashahud( I think thats how its said)
then I get up for Qiyam and say Fatihah.

The prayer book I have to teach prayers is from the Masjid.
