Roses are very old garden subjects – a favourite for some 5,000 years. The 'something blue' was the delphinidin gene that Florigene's geneticists cloned from a pansy, to direct pigment synthesis in the rose into the 'blue' pathway. The 'something borrowed' was an iris gene for an enzyme, DFR, required to complete the delphinidin-synthesis reaction. What will be next, or better yet, how will this science be used? Will it be used to eliminate diseases in the world, or will it be another tool to create more profit for the big pharmaceutical companies? What are your thoughts?  wow!! mashallah. OMG OMG, do you know what you guys could do with these. i do. lol. print them off, and make them into cards. these would be wedding cards, even eid cards. do you girls mind if i print them off.(it would save me the trouble of expressing my dodgy photography skills) if so, im so saving them to the hard drive, inshallah. i know some girls who would also be interested. oh and also, you could print them off and sell them. |
