Hadith - Muslim, Narrated 'Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin

Dawud ibn Salih ibn Dinar at-Tammar quoted his mother as saying that her mistress sent her with some pudding (harisah) to Aisha who was offering prayer. She made a sign to me to place it down. A cat came and ate some of it, but when Aisha finished her prayer, she ate from the place where the cat had eaten. She stated: The Messenger of Allah said: It is not unclean: it is one of those who go round among you.She added: I saw the Messenger of Allah performing ablution from the water left over by the cat.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar:

Allah's Apostle said, "A lady was punished because of a cat which she had imprisoned till it died. She entered the (Hell) Fire because of it, for she neither gave it food nor water as she had imprisoned it, nor set it free to eat from the vermin of the earth."

we did have a cat before...but we had to give it back to the lady who gave it to us in the first place...cause we moved from that place...i actually kinda got fond of it...but then again...when it was out the house, it was a sort of relief

how selfish can thy get!! YA ALLAH!! i have 5cats && 1kitten Alhamdulillah && 2puppys && i parrot && Alhamdulillah love them all but why would somone ban animals thats ridicilous!! && people are sad if thy do that after all thy are like humans sleep,eat,die (). if ya think about it dudes if we were say for instant a cat right, && people pushed us around didn't feed us etc etc how would we like it think about it!

oh well anyone got pets here?

i had that cat but never allowed it in my bedroom...only touched it qa few times...but cuddling ....err that's like miles away

When I was younger, I used to have a cat that was older then me. He was part of the family and for some reason we'd named him Yunus. He was brown and ginger and looked almost the size of a small dog. He had wise eyes and an expression of understanding. In his old age he got some kind of an illness and fur started to fall off in clumps, leaving bold patches on his body.
On the day we were going to take him to the vets, we couldn't find him anywhere. we looked high and low, but he was nowhere to be seen.
And we haven't seen him since........it's been 15 years.

some one told us that he probabley knew he was going to die and didn't want us to feel pain from the loss, so he took himself somewhere we wouldn't find him, and laid to rest there....

I've had so many cats after Yunus. but I still think about him and miss him...

if you can touch it am sure you can cuddle it nothing bad about them, there just sweet animals && very bubbly, well in your room you didn't allow it well my cats go all over me at night lol it's a hectic

OMG!! when you realised first you should take him/her staright away immedietly to thy vets.
OMG!! can't ebelieve it you haven;t seen him/her since 15years my cat died by a silly man drove over it but i still can't get over it because that was my first ever cat!
