Hell Fire

"One Day We will ask Hell,
"Art thou filled to the full?" It will say,
"Are there any more (to come)?" [Qaf 50:30]

Life in Hell is a terrible, miserable life. It is the worst life that a person can imagine and think of. It is prepared as an eternal life for the sinners and wrong-doers; the ones who refused to repent; the ones who stayed on the wrong path. Everyone in Hell will regret their past.

"Not one of you but will pass over it: This is, with your Lord, a decree which must be accomplished. But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall have the wrong-doers therein, to their knees. [19:71-72]

After the Day of Judgement, people are to visit Hell; whether they are good or bad. Each is to zoom towards Hell to see what it looks like or what type of life is there. Those who are sinners will enter Hell; those who are good will pass around it to Heaven.

"By no means! for it would be the Fire of Hell! Plucking out (his being) right to the skull!- Inviting (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from the Right)." [Al-Ma`arij 70:15.17]

Life in hell

People are to be the Fuel of Hell

"They are themselves but fuel for the Fire" [Al-Imran 3:10]

Other places in the Qur'an: [2:217], [3:10], [72:15], [2:24], and [66:6]

People will be blind, mute, and deaf.

On the Day of Judgement, We shall gather them together, prone of their faces, blind, dumb and deaf: Their abode will be Hell. Every time it shows abatement, We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire." [Al-Isra 17:97]

Other places in the Qur'an: [ Taha 20: 124-125], [Al-Isra 17:72], [Al-Qamar 54:48]

People in Hell will be surrounded with yokes around their necks, chained down with long leashes and are dragged down on their faces.

"When the yokes [shall be] round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along-in boiling fetid fluid; then in the Fire shall they be burned. [Ghafir 40:71-72]

Other places in the Qur'an: [ Al-Insan 76:4], [Al-Haqqah 69:32]

People in Hell are to be beaten with maces of iron on their heads to feel the pain and humiliation.

"In addition there will be maces of iron [to punish] them. [Al-Hajj 22:21]

People in Hell are to have special clothing. Those who deny the existence of Allah are to have clothing of fire.

"But those who deny [their Lord]- for them will be cut out a garment of fire" [Al-Hajj 22:19]

In another place, the Qur'an states that their clothing are from tar. . .

"...Their garments of liquid pitch..." [Ibrahim 14:50]

Angels are to drag the criminals on their faces in Hell.

"Those who will be gathered to Hell on their faces, they will be in an evil plight, and, as to path, most astray. [Al-Furqan 25:34]

People of Hell are to argue among themselves and they are to accuse one another.

The hypocrites are to be at the bottom of Hell

The Flame of Fire is regularly increased fieircefully

"We shall increase for them the fierceness of the Fire" [17:97]

People in Hell are neither to die nor to live [Taha 20:74]

Food in Hell

People of Hell are going to drink boiling water which makes them feel painful in their stomach and intestines. The pain is very heavy so that their intestines are cut into pieces.

"[Can those in such Bliss] be compared to such as shall dwell forever in the Fire and be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels?" [Qur'an 47:15]

"They will have for drink [only] boiling water, and or punishment, one most grievous: for they persisted in rejecting God [Qur'an 6:70]
"In front of such one is Hell, and he is given for drink, boiling fetid fwater" [Qur'an 14:16]

People of hell eat from fruits of a tree called Zaqqum. This terrible and bitter tree grows at the bottom of Hell. Its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils instead of being tender. People of Hell are going to eat hungrily;; and every time they are hungry there is nothing for them but this type of food.

"Is that the better entertainment or the Tree of Zaqqum? For We have truly made it a trial for the wrong-doers. For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-fire: The shoots of its fruit-stalks are like the heads of devils: Truly they will eat thereofand fill their bellies therewith. Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water..." [Qur'an 37:62-67]

"Verily, the tree of Zaqqum will be the food of the sinful, -like molten brass; it will boil in their insides, like the boiling of scalding water" [Qur'an 44: 43-46]

In Surah Al-Muzzamil , the Quran says that the food chokes the throat. Instead of nourishing the person, it causes pain, and instead of satisfying the person, it causes the sensation of hesitant apetite and the desire for more and more food. [73:12-13]

In Surah Al-Haqqah, Allah informs us that the food is that of filth, and from the washing of wounds [69:36]

in Surah Ghashiyah , the Qur'an says that the food of Hell is of bitter thorn-fruit [Dari']. This plant is bitter and thorny, it has a disgusting smell and appearance, and it will not give nourishment to the body nor satisfy the burning spasms of hunger; it is similar to Zaqqum.

"Our Lord, turn away from us the torment of Hell. Indeed, its torment is unrelenting. It is surely an evil residence and station" [Qur'an 25:65-66]

"Rabana Assrifa'nna a'thaaba jahanam Inna a'thabaha kaan ghraaman Innaha saaAt musttaqirran wamuqaaman"

good question sis, lets think bout it, is it better to starve or it burning spikes on earth? i think most people would choose to starve

They will be forced to eat and drink, whether they want to or don't want to. Keep in mind that there are no choices for people in the hellfire. They HAVE to feel whatever punishment Allah wants them to feel.

Abu Hurayrah reported that the prophet(saw) said:

The fire of hell was burned for one thousand years until it became red. It was then burned for one years more until it became white.It was then burned for an additional one thousands years until it became black. It is now extremely black.(in colour)

Utbah bin Gazwa reported that the prophet(saw) said:

If a stone is thrown into hell, it will continue to fall down therein for seventy years without reaching the bottom. By Allah, hell certainly will be filled up(with sinners)t

The quran also states "But he who scales are light, his home will be a pit. And what will make you wonder understand what that is? (it is) a fire, blazing fierecely.
