Every time I listen to and read this Qaseedah it always has such a powerful effect upon me... subhanAllaah.

I was just wondering about one line:
ثمَّ الصلاةُ على الْمُختـارِ سَيِّدِنـا
مَا وَضّـأ البَرْقَ في شَّامٍ وفي يَمَنِ

Is that really translated as the below:

Lastly sending prayers upon the Chosen one, Our Sayyid (leader)

It seems like there's something missing - particularly about Syria and Yemen.

"And that which the lighting lit up in Shaam and in Yemen"

SubhanAllah, each one I read or listen to this poem I feel that I did it for the first time

its soo strong, soo deep, for those who read it in Arabic, its very amazing. English is very limited and can't describe the poem as it is written in Arabic

but amazing work done by the translation team indeed
May Allah reward you all brothers and sisters

I remember listening to it as a nasheed when I was little, the voice of munched was so touching along with such amazing words subhanAllah
