Only the thread starter can appreciate correctly how should be the rule applied in this specific case because i read it too it was only a name typo correction.

I'll let alpha off insha'Allaah because he found out it was a spelling mistake.

And i also think that aslong as the questioner agreed with the answer - then the person may later on alter it, if it really is a spelling mistake.

If the questioner can notice that it is a spelling mistake, and not a totally different word - then we should let them off. Otherwise we may think the questioner is in on it, and we may have to take action.

I can't edit the rules, so any SM or Admin can do that insha'Allaah. And Allaah Almighty knows best.
