| Account Disabled Status: Offline Posts: 7,314 Reputation: 18127 Rep Power: 0 Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: 16°53'39.06"N 43°48'5.35"E Gender: Way of Life: Muslim | hmmmm...... the hadeeth that i mentioned earlier narrated by ABI AYYUB is in saheeh al-muslim!! there's ayyaam al-biyd! narrarated abu dharr radiyallaahu 3anhu... the prophet salalaahu 3alayhi wass sallam commanded us to fast from every month three days...the 13th, 14th and the 15th! (rawaahu an-nasaa'i wa at-tirmidhi wa sahahahu ibnu hibbaan) AND: Narrated ibn Umar radiyallaahu 3anhumaa , the Prophet observed the sawm on the 10th of muharram and ordered muslims to observe saum on that day, but when the fasting of the month of ramadan was prescribed, the fasting of the ashuraa was abandoned .abdullah did noit use fast on that day unless it coincided with his routine fasting by chance. there's sawm ad-dhar but the hadeth is real long!! ........ i've got more ...hang on ok!! HMPPHHFFT!!! |

| Account Disabled Status: Offline Posts: 7,314 Reputation: 18127 Rep Power: 0 Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: 16°53'39.06"N 43°48'5.35"E Gender: Way of Life: Muslim | ASS SALAAMU AALYKUM And there's sawm daawuud: narrated abdilah bin amr ibn aasi.the prophet said to me : you observe sawm daily all the year and offer salat all the night ? ireplied in the affirmative . the prphet said: if you keep on doing this, your eyes will become weak and your body will egt tired. he who observes sawm all the year is as he who did not sawm at all . observing sawm on three days willbe equal to observing sawm of the whole year. i replied : i ahve the strentgh for more than this! the prophet said: then observe sawm like the fasting of dawuud who used to observe sawm on alternate days and would never flee from the battle field on meeting the enemy!!....... and in another hadeth by ibn amr' " there is no sawm superior to that of the prophet daawuud it was half of the year , so observe on alternate days...." and i mentioned the aashuraa right that's about it Maw ...my shoulders and backs killing me!! wa alaykum ass salaam ps: complain one more time sis and wacth!! |
