there's differene in opinion if you should move your finger while saying the tashud.some sheikhs say not to move the finger and others say you should.and yes i know we should give our parents great respect and love. |

__________________Just gonna add a little about burying the dead, Abee Qataadah radhiya Alahu anhu narrated that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam said 'if any of you should wrap (kafn) his brother, then wrap him well' muslim Hadeeth Ibn Abbaas in Saheeh musnad, that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalam said 'wear from your clothes the white ones, for it is the best of your clothes and dress your dead in it' As for the shaheed/martyr he is buried without being washed, Ibn Abbas narrated that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam ordered them to take the armour of the martyrs and to bury them in their blood and clothes, this was on the day of Uhud. wassalaam

Good question because they're shuhadaa/martyrs too....perhaps they have the same rulings....i don't know Allahu a'lam akhee

But are they treated as Shuhadaa' ? I recall studying that these people are Shuhadaa' in the Aakhirah and Not Shuhadaa' in the Dunya.
__________________So those people who die of stomach ailments etc they are washed and shrouded like regular people right? and we make Janaazah over them and Pray over them, and only the Shuhadaa' who die fighting in Jihaad shouldn't be washed.... Allahu A3lam, that's what I know for now I will do research Insha'allah |

maw...i remember from fawaa'id umm Abdillah al indonesiyah that she said that the shuhaadah were 3:-
__________________1. shaheed of dunya: the ones that (yuraa'ee) want praise and want to be called martyrs like the army 2. shaheed of aakhirah: the one that is killed and wants to return to the dunya another time only to be martyred again 3. shaheed dunya and aakhirah: the one that the prophet alayhi salaatu wassalaam called a martyr and gave tazkiyah to wassalaam
