No, abu Jahl never became a Muslim, nor did he want to have anything to do with Islam; except that he was an enemy from the start . . .

So try to guess what he was called before he was given the nickname "Abu Jahl". His real name was Amr bin Hisham . . .

But the question isn't about his real name either, just another of his nicknames . . .
