A large swarm of hornets were protecting him right? His names' 3asim bin 'Umar. When Umar bin Khattaab heard about this he said 'verily Allah protects his beleiving servants after death just as he protects them whilst they are alive.' (bukhari)

Ok the arabs were very superstitious and so they would dedicate certain animals to idols...
"And they say: "What is in the bellies of such and such cattle (milk or foetus) is for our males alone, and forbidden to our females (girls and women), but if it is born dead, then all have shares therein." He will punish them for their attribution (of such false orders to Allah). Verily, He is AllWise, AllKnower"
Who is the man who first started these superstitions?
