Some of the members on this forum need to read this thread and make changes in the way they posts. It's really depressing the way some people are interacting....A change needs to be made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what my sugesstions is, is to close down the puzzles and humor section (except for the islamic quiz), if you want to avoid unnecessary mingling.

I am really interested in a Muslim Girl in school. How am I supposed to approach her? She has been raised in America for sure and I can't just say "who is your wali." I want to get to know her for the purpose of possible marriage. How should I approach her? What should I say? Any suggestions from people would help. It is hard because Muslim sisters have different mind set about dating/getting to know each other, and you cannot just ask the girl out. You have to go through parents screening/interviewing you first. I have spoken to girls only when other sisters introduce me to them or family screening me first...never just approached the girl.

I just wanted to go and introduce myself and then....I am stuck??

Approach the local imam, and see if he knows her and her family. Or just ask around/speak to someone who knows the family, that way inshallah they can direct you to them.

offer Ishthekhara prayer . If u have / feel positive signs , then send ur wali to her wali.
