Default Debts - 07-25-2006

If someone has left £100,000 debt over and passed away and you take it in your name (all of it) does the person who the debt has been taken from get forgiven?

Also what is the ruling on debts, is it ok to pay them off slowly in installments?

if the dead person made the intention 2 pay off the debt then and you pay it off, then its okily dokily as it says in a hadiths

"There are two types of debt: whoever dies intending to repay it, I will be responsible for it,and whoever dies with no intention to repay it, will have it taken from his good deeds" [tabarani]

and bro jus try to pay it off as quickly as possible, inshallah ya will
