Yeh we could, or how about 3 names every 3 days? The thing is, we want to add the English meanings too right? So I'm worried there wouldn't be rooom for that...

Masha'allah that's a wonderful idea!

I'm going to add it to my siggy now insha'allah.

It just occurred to me, I remember that in Malaysia they used to have the kids recite the names of Allah every Friday morning in assembly, and it used to be in a singsong nasheed like.....so it was easier to remember that way. Just letting you know in case you wanted to try

You should all read this article inshaAllah. It explains some misconceptions.

A small extract from the article:

That is, it does not mean that Allah has ninety-nine and only ninety-nine names. Indeed, in going through the Quran and authentic hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) many scholars have been able to discover more than ninety-nine names of Allah. Furthermore, many scholars have concluded that Allah has an infinite number of names. This opinion is based on the following hadith. The Prophet (peace be upon him) made the following supplication, "[O Allah], I ask you of you by every name that You have named yourself or that You have revealed in Your book or that You have taught any of Your creation or that You have kept hidden, in the unseen knowledge, with Yourself." (Recorded by Ahmad, According to al-Albani, it is sahih.)

^ Yea and there's also the hadeeth when Rasulullah will intercede with Allah on the Day of Judgement, He mentions that he will call Allah by names which we do not know of in this world.

Brother and sisters the 99 names in hadith of (alwaleed ebn muslim) are not from the hadith of the prophet

So these 99 names aren't the true 99 names
