the early books on Islam like Imam Malik's Muwatta didnt even mention any hadeeth about any Mahdi or even the Second Coming of Jesus ie Prophet Isa as..dont you people find that strange? if its such an important belief how comes it isnt there? and we know Imam Malik's grandfather lived during Prophet Muhammed's time? and also Imam Malik was based in Madina the city of the Prophet.
