__________________Welcome to Islam, any answers insha'Allah should be through people who know what they talk about, so we do not make mistakes, that is something important. Here is something on the prayer, http://www.understand-islam.net/salat/index.html To the actual perfomance check this http://www.understand-islam.net/salat/04.html The tashahud should be there somewhere, go through it insha'Allah. As for the rest of the questions insha'Allah, God willing, someone will reply, the answers are commonly known, but the delay in reply is probably due to finding evidence from scholars for you, since in Islam we try to refer back to people of knowledge to minimise mistakes. Anyhow, welcome bro, Your brother. We got pastors who pee sitting down, we got the president of the united states who probably pees sitting down. We got a bunch of preachers, we got leaders who don't stand up and piss against the wall like a man! And am going to tell ya something, that's what's wrong with America.... It's cos the editors of the NIV pee sitting down, the editors of the NKJV all pee sitting down, am gonna tell you something, I'm not gonna pee sitting down... Preacher |

It was narrated from Bahz ibn Hakeem from his father that his grandfather [Mu’aawiyah ibn Haydah al-Qushayri] (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allaah, with regard to our ‘awrah, what may we uncover of it and what must we conceal? He said: “Cover your ‘awrah except from your wife and those whom your right hand possesses (i.e., concubines).” I said, O Messenger of Allaah, what if a man is with another man? He said, “If you can make sure that no one sees it, then do not let anyone see it.” I said, O Messenger of Allaah, what if one of us is alone? He said, “Allaah is more deserving that you should feel shy before Him than people.” Narrated and classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi (2769); narrated by Ibn Maajah (1920); classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Tirmidhi. It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No man should look at the ‘awrah of another man, and no woman should look at the ‘awrah of another woman.” Narrated by Muslim, 338. Al-Nawawi (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: This shows that it is haraam for a man to look at the ‘awrah of another man and for a woman to look at the ‘awrah of another woman, and there is no difference of opinion concerning that. End quote. Sharh Muslim, 4/30 But if the issue is showing the ‘awrah unintentionally, then there is no sin on you, and the other person has to avert his gaze and not look at it. source: Islam Q&A

"First of all, we would like to stress the fact that removing unwanted hair from the body is an act of fitrah (natural disposition). Referring to this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is reported to have said: “The fitrah consists of five things: circumcision, trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, plucking the armpit hairs and shaving the pubic hairs” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim.) Responding to your question, Sheikh M. S. Al-Munajjid, a prominent Saudi Muslim lecturer and author, states: "There are reports in the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) which indicate that the pubic hairs should be removed, as it was reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The fitrah consists of five things, … [one of which is] removing the pubic hairs” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also set a time limit of forty days, and the hair should not be left any longer than that because of the hadith of Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), who said, “He set us a time limit of no more than forty days for trimming the mustache, clipping the nails, plucking the armpit hairs, and shaving the pubic hair” (Al-Bukhari and Muslim). The jurists discussed the proper etiquette of removing the pubic hair and said that it is recommended to start shaving the pubic hair from beneath the navel, and to start on the right hand side, and one should also be concealed from the sight of others when doing this. The reasons behind removing this dirty hair could also be applied to the hair on the scrotum and around the anus, if impurity gets attached to it, because the purpose is to be completely clean and pure and keep away from anything that may cause dirt and impurities to cling to the body. In this case, removing this hair is a good thing. With the regard to women, the rulings on removing the pubic hair are the same as the rulings for men."

First from the Qur’aan: Imam Shafi’i stated that masturbation is forbidden based on the following verses from the Qur’aan (interpretation of the meaning): "And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts). Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, - for them, they are free from blame. But whoever seeks beyond that, then those are the transgressors." 23.5-7 Here the verses are clear in forbidding all illegal sexual acts (including masturbation) except for the wives or that their right hand possess. And whoever seeks beyond that is the transgressor. "And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His bounty." 24.33. This verse also clearly orders whoever does not have the financial means to marry to keep himself chaste and be patient in facing temptations (including masturbation) until Allah enriches them of His bounty. Secondly, from the sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him): Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood said, "We were with the Prophet while we were young and had no wealth whatsoever. So Allaah’s Messenger said, "O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power." Bukhari:5066. The hadeeth orders men who are not able to marry to fast despite the hardship encountered in doing so, and not to masturbate despite the ease with which it can be done. There are additional evidences that can be cited to support this ruling on masturbation, but due to the limited space we will not go through them here. Allaah knows what is best and most correct. I was told that if you miss a prayer for whatever reason you can make up for it afterwards, is there anything special I have to say or do? 2. If I make a mistake a during the prayer and I remember also during the same prayer, is it true I have to make 2 extra Rak'ah's? |
