I find hypocritical that they attack Islam for being anti-woman, when the record of Judeo-Chrisitianity is far worse. For example, every time Chrisitians attack Islam, they attack Islam because its supposed mistreatment of women, which is rather odd, given the fact that Judeo-Chrisitianity has treated women far worse than Islam ever has. For centuries, women in Christian Europe were secluded and oppressed.
The Bible is replete with anti-woman passages, that encourage the rape of virgins and suppression of women in the churches.

Still another example of misogyny is modern-day Hinduism. In India, my home country, women are oppressed all the time. For thousands of years, women were burned alive on the funeral pyre of their husbands (a practice called Sati). Also, every year in India, scores of women are literally burned alive because they cannot pay their dowry. Yet the politically-correct media says nothing of these gross injustices committed against women. It begs the question as to why?

That is my point. People in the media as well as in Hollywood make a big raucous about how women are treated in the Islamic world. They complain about how Muslim men behave with their women. They make a big issue about of how rich Saudis go to France, India, Thailand, and host of other places to have sex with prostitutes, but they say nothing of humilating treatment of women in the West and in Asia. By the way, many of the men who go to Thailand to have immoral fun are also White Americans and Europeans, but the media doesn't make an issue out of that. I said my peace,

First of all you people rational or just plain stupid. MTV has become its own news source in way, especially for young people. In addition Al Jazeera does not brainwash the American people. Yes, it is major news outlet in the Middle East and has become popular among American audiences for news coverage about the Middle East, but it Murdoch's Fox News that did much to convince the American public that war against the Islamic world was necessary to protect American interests.
