In-nal hamda lillaah, nahmaduhu wa nasta’eenuhu wa nastaghfiruh. Wa na’oodhu billaahi min shurooree anfusinaa wa min say-ee-aatee a’maalinaa..... Am-maa ba’d.



Due to the incident that occured today - our plan on going to study classes has been aborted.


We also know that sister +*Glacier*+ was lost, and through Allaah's Mercy - we were able to find her again.

Khaldun: "Alhamdulillah (all praise is to Allaah) We also know that it is dark now, so we can't walk all the way back.

I'm also sure that some brothers and sisters don't have any transport to go back home in. So we've decided that we'll have to stay in this place overnight.


Brother Muhammad may Allaah Almighty bless him got us some food for the trip, and insha'Allaah some sisters did too. So we will share that tonight insha'Allaah.


The brothers can sleep upstairs, and the sisters can sleep downstairs insha'Allaah. If anyone wishes to do any worship, please do it in your own gender room. jazak Allaahu khayr.



Anything good i said is from Allaah, and the mistakes are because of my sins and the accursed shaytaan. May Allaah grant victory to the believers, and grant us safety, tranquility and blessed rizq (provisions) in this life and the afterlife."

Ya Allaah (oh Allaah), protect us all from the hellfire, and grant the believers jannah al firdaws (the highest level of paradise.) May we all die in the state of islaam.

Al-Mu'minah: Has everyone said 'bismillah' before eating?


The Prophet’s guidance with regard to food is perfect guidance. It was described by Ibn al-Qayyim as follows:

When he put his hand in the food, he would say, “Bismillaah (in the Name of Allaah), and he told people to say this when eating. He said, “When any one of you eats, let him mention the name of Allaah. If he forgets to mention the name of Allaah at the beginning, let him say Bismillaahi fi awwalihi wa aakhirihi (in the name of Allaah at its beginning and at its end).” Saheeh hadeeth, narrated by al-Tirmidhi (1859) and Abu Dawood (3767).





Um Hamzah: I can't believe that we even get rewarded for eating, alhamdulillah.


“Allaah will be pleased with a slave who eats some food then praises Allaah for it, and drinks some drink then praises Allaah for it.” (Reported by Muslim, 2734, from the hadeeth of Anas). He also said. “In your intercourse with your wife, there is reward.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, can anyone of us have sexual enjoyment and be rewarded for that?” He said, “Do you not see that if you do that in a haraam manner, you will be punished for it? So if you do it in a halaal manner, you will be rewarded.” (As in the hadeeth of Abu Dharr, reported by Muslim, 1006).

By now, the room had gone silent as everyone got up for prayer. Some had already started praying the 4 sunnah (optional prayer.)

Laa illaaha illAllaah (there is none worthy of worship except Allaah)

chacha_jalebi turned around an saw that the rest of the members had started to pray the 4 sunnah, while others prayed the dua' [supplication] between the adhaan and iqaamah.





the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever says when he hears the call to prayer: ‘Allaahumma Rabba haadhihi’l-da’wat il-taammah wa’l-salaat il-qaa’imah, aati Muhammadan il waseelata wa’l-fadeelah, wab’athhu maqaaman mahmoodan illadhi wa’adtah (O Allaah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer to be offered, grant Muhammad the privilege (of intercession) and also the eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position that You have promised),’ my intercession for him will be permitted on the Day of Resurrection.”

(Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 589).


One should also supplicate for himself during the time between the aadhaan and the iqaamah as supplication at such time is not rejected.

If you listened closely enough, you could hear some people trying to imitate sheikh shuraim but didn't do a good job of it, while other's tried reciting in the tune of Sa'ad al ghamdi but were missing that extra echo..

The room was spacious, the candles were alight, the hallway had food on, but not human food...



Abdullah began to crawl off towards a candle, his mother quicky got hold of him after getting up from sujood (prostration.)




The sky was totally black outside.. A moonless night. The wind howled fiercely, trying to blow away anything that came in it's way..
