I'd try and talk to them and persuade them to find a solution (i.e. get back together, or get a divorce), but ultimately, it's up to them. I try not to involve myself in others' private lives.

And if anyone tries to nose into my private life, I attack them with spanners.

Be careful with credit cards online. Check that the site is secure - if it is, a little padlock icon will appear at the bottom of the page (if you have a hotmail account, sign in and you'll see what it looks like).
