The fact that magnets and computers don't mix? Like I said, it might not work, but it is some entertainment.

A more serious solution would be to ask them to turn the music down or get headphones.

But if the magnet plan doesn't work, rally your classmates and revolt. Maybe.

well the best way to damage the laptop is to place the magnet directly below it (motherboard/hardrive etc). The magnet would simply wipe away the memmory or mess the system up, either way its a WIN WIN SITUATION!
