Anyways. I teach madrassah on Sundays..The middle aged group..9 and 10 year olds. My students are all very smart, but then theres this one girl who passes them all. And sheeee...well she likes to show off and diss the other girls when they make mistakes. But even though she's like that, She's really really sweet...And they all love her..But she's mean to them..But she likes everyone too..I've tried talking to her privately, and even telling her to hush in class in front of everyone when she starts her show-off talks..but it doesnt work? How do i get her to stop being mean to her classmates?

Find a weakness in her and exploit it:d For example, if she's not the fastest runner, put her in a race with some of the faster kids, and when she looses (which she will) she will experience defeat and this will be a good long term solution for her learning.

Yes you are a big bad meany.

I do not do races with my kids.. i do Qur'an and Hadeeth and arabic writing. Shes good at everything. Plus she considers me one of her "bestest" friends. AAAAh being a teacher stresses you out. I guess i'm just too kind ;)

Ok.....This was a descriprion of me when I used to be good at reading.

Once my teacher gave me such a hard book (this is wen I was 8) which not even grown ppl wud understand...

So...Solution: Give her something that is waaaaaayy out of her league...

why dont you get her to give you a hand teaching...or would that make her head explode even further...maybe she just needs that kind of responsibility to give her better understanding....
