Nope. try again . Read carefully . It says 228 digits not 228 pages.

b.c. 9 (for page 1-9) = 9 pages
PLUS 90 pages (to total 99) x2 (180)
so thats 180+ 9 digits, i.e. 189 digits (we have 100 pages so far here)

then 228 - 189 = 39

39 divided by 3 (for the 3 digit numbers (100 onwards) = 13

so 9 pages + 99 pages +13 pages = 121 pages!!!

9 + 90 (not 99 whoops) + 13 = 112!!!

Sister Muslimahh got it right masha Allah.. digits means the unit example 100 means 3 digit, so pages 100-105 means 3 x 6=18 digits
100, 101, 102,103,104,105
