Answer to question B
in terms of tafkheem and tarqeeq,
which is the placement of the tongue in either the upper mouth or the front
of the mouth depending on the surrounding letters. There are a number of
rules such as if the raa' is saakin and before it is a kasra aSlii (in the
same word), and after it is one of the letters of isti`laa' (Saad, Daad etc)
which is not maksuur, then it is pronounced with tafkheem (the tip of the
tongue further up inside the mouth, making more of a 'hollow' sound).
The pronounciation of meem saakina of which there are three variants, idhgaam
asshafawii, ikhfaa' asshafawii and idhhaar asshafawii
The rules of pronounciation with laam alfi`l in terms of idhgaam and idhhaar.
The rules of madd, of which there are very many, categorised in qaSr, almadd
alaSlii, almadd alfar`ii, madd waajib muttaSil, madd jaa`iz munfaSil, madd
alladhee sababuhu lissukuun, (`aariD assukuun and almadd allaazim and almadd
allaazim alkalamii and almadd allaazim alHarfii (muthaqqilan and
mukhaffifan), almuduud almulHaq (madd aSSila, inc SilatalKubraa
SilatuSSughraa) madd albadal (aSlii) and many more types

Re: Tajweed Revision thread

In huruf muqattaah-like alif laam meem, ha meem, nuun and so on...it can be called mad lazim harfi or mad tabi'e harfi depends on which letters except the alif. for the letters which written out consist of 2 letters only recite as 2 harakat called mad tabi'e harfi. It is only 5 letters-Ha(in Ha-meem), Ya(in Ya seen and begin Surah Maryam, Taa(in Ta-seen meem), ha(in kaf ha ya 'ain saad-surah maryam and Ra(alif laam Raa). The alif no mad because when written out alif there is no mad letter in it. for other letter- seen -nuun-Qaaf-Saad-laam- kaaf-meem-a'in.these letters when written out consist of three letters so we recite it we 6 harakat called mad lazim harfi.mad lazim harfi consist of 2, muthaqqal and mukhaffaf. muthaqqal when the idgham occur between those letters and mukhaffaf no idgham. in this case alif laam meem.Alif no mad in it. laam it call mad lazim harfi muthaqqal because the meem at the end of laam merging with with meem of next letter.while meem called mad lazim harfi mukhaffaf because the end meem not merging with any letter.
