Someone should've point out to her how marrying a 9yr old was common back then among all religions and races, and a 9yr old in those days is more developed and mature then she is right now. Islamirama, everyone I talk to seems to be of the opinion that girls develop at a much earlier age now days. There even seems to be a debate in some circles as to the effects of growth hormones fed to animals resulting in an accelerated growth rate in girls and boys.

The early puberty you are seeing today is not normal biological development, what you are seeing is the results of your people living on chemical trash that you call food. Look at the bigger picture, girls (and boys) are hitting puberty at early as 8 are in the western "developed" nations.

The natural biological development of girls in the older days was not limited to a chemically fed nation but rather a world wide thing. Whether the arabs were marrying young girls or the crusaders in middle ages or what not.

You main beef is that prophet (pbuh) was married to a 9yr old girl. And your ignorance won't let you get pass the historical facts of the society back then, and not just that society. Aisha r.a. (the prophet's wife) was engaged to somebody else at that time. First you say girls developed at an earlier age back in the day, when you are asked for proof, you then state that the girls develop at an earlier age now days due to the counter-points I had already stated.

I am not trying to make anyone look foolish; however your own posts are making you look foolish. Perhaps you have a valid argument, but the way you are presenting it makes you look foolish.

Please don’t be offended but, when you present your arguments in the manner that you have it might make a person think:

Perhaps you should look at it with a more open mind. My point still stands and your counter point stands as well but has no bearing on my point.

I stated that girls matured and hit puberty at a much earlier age in the old days and you countered that with the statement that girls are doing that today. But you failed to understand the reasoning behind the two which i explained to you.

The girls reached maturity and early development in the old days due to number of reasons, among which some include culture/society, weather/environment, and low life expectancy.

The girls who hit puberty at early age today are a direct result of the chemically contaminated food you feed your people. This early puberty is not world wide but rather limited to your western nations who eat chemically altered food. And this early puberty has come about in the recent decades, not something that was common in 50yrs ago.
