MAHDAVIS

Originating from the Indian Subcontinent, the belief and practices of this sect are founded upon many innovatory practices.

Like other movements mahdavia is also bent on fighting Islaam, and destroying its values and teachings by giving a Baatinee (Lit. Esoteric) meaning of Qur'ân.

This movement is also destroying the Islamic faith and leading a revolt against the teachings of Islamic law by employing free interpretations of the religious texts, claiming that all texts have an outer obvious meaning known only to the masses and an inner hidden intended meaning known only to a select few initiates. The greatest danger of these Baatinite movement lies in the fact that they wear the cloak of Islaam while striving to destroy it from within. History will never forget the effects of past groups like the Shi’ites, Sabee’ites, Khattaabites, Keesaanites, the Qaramantians, Nusayrites and Druzes or current cults like Bahaism and Qadiyaanism, Mahdavis, Goharshahi, etc. which have appeared at random, bursting out of the Islamic community’s ranks in a vain attempt to extinguish the light of Islaam and divert Muslims from the reality of Religion.

In this movement we have another Mahdi in the person of Syed Mohammed Jaunpuri who was born in Juanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India about 600 years ago. He later on went to Afghanistan where he died and was buried at a place between Farah and Reich in Afghanistan.

Any one who sees an optical illusions declares himself a Mahdi. Like Mirza Gulam Ahmed Qadiyaani, Riaz Ahmad Goharshahi, Wallace Fard Muhammad, Elijah Poole (Muhammed), Isa Abdullah (Dwight York's The Ansaarullah Cult), Abdullah Al-Harari Al-Habashi, etc. There are many who have called themselves Mehdi, How much Mahdis we have had already and how much more are waiting in the wing? Allaah can only help us from these so called Mehdis, it is really becoming difficult to make a choice when we receive them left, right and centre. When someone has a personality disorder, he talks strange things and then, visualising the natural reaction of the people, automatically becomes paranoid and seeks refuge elsewhere.

Arrival of the “Promised Messiah” has not made life any easier for us. We were mendicants and we will ever remain mendicants.

They also have Caliphs (Khulaf-e-Rash-e-Deen) like Qadiyaanis (Ahmedis) have to name few:

Bandagi Miyan Syed Mahmood Sani-e-Mahdi
Bandagi Miyan Syed Khundmeer Siddiq-e-Vilayat
Bandagi Miyan Shah-e-Naimat
Bandagi Miyan Shah-e-Nizam
Bandagi Miyan Shah-e-Dilawar
