AssalamuAlaykum

Where are the hadeeth we're supposed to be memorising? This thread is confusing me, people say they've memorised hadeeth 1, 2 and 3 etc but where can we see them? Are they Nawawi's 40 Ahadeeth? Or 40 Ahadeeth Qudsi or something? *confused*
