Only 5% of the CHINESE and Indians put religion first. Yet 61 % of the Malays put it first. Since just over 60% of the population is Muslims, could I assume that most all of the Malays are Muslims? Any one know? The official religion is Islam. The judicial system is based on English law. I would think that an assumption that the 39% of the population that are not Muslims don’t want Islam to play a bigger role. So if18% of the respondents wanted a society where Islam played a bigger role. That would mean that about 70% of the Muslims don’t want it. What ever, the vast majority don’t support more religion in government. I wonder how many would like to see a society where Islam played less of a role. |

Maybe I should also find a forum with more secular Muslims, so I can keep a proper perspective. Does anyone have any suggestions? | |
