Quite true. When troops are sent in as UN peace keepers they are then under jurisdiction of the UN and not their home country. Although I am some one who would like to see the US withdraw from the UN, I will say that it it's entire history no country has had troops turn against UN leadership while in a Peacekeeping role.

Yes, Malaysian soldiers have an excellent reputation for being impartial when in a peace keeping mission. I do not see that changing. I believe they will serve strictly in the role they are assigned.
