Is it permissible to feel sympathy for American Veterans suffering from PTSD?

if they walked around in uniform.. the public at large would offer them all sorts of curtesies, discounts and perks.

i imagine..

the stolen valour youtube videos lead me to think this.

if any of them show show regret or remorse.. then they are fully aware that is not what the world wants.


as it is, an imaginary cog in an imaginary machine is worth very little if it actually becomes real..
