    The soul

    Report bad ads?

So as we know this was created long ago and that's who we are we just forgot because allah caused us to forget but my question is if allah will have a point in time where he destroys all creation even the angels that means that he will have to recreate our soul but this kindve doesn't make sense to me cuz let's basically let's just say I'm a computer with a hardrive with a bunch of data on me and then I get destoryed right but then they put the exact same data on a different computer that computer is technically the same but if it gets a virus the computer before isn't going to suffer so does this mean that basically we won't exist anymore after allah destroys all creation it's confusing to me because that means that we won't go to jannah but a copy of me will go to jannah right? Just like how if you make two computers the exact same and one gets destroyed that doesn't mean the other is destoryed do we just technically not exist are we worthless and just a simulation for the fate of the real us

    Re: The soul

Data is data, we say something is a "copy", but something is nothing but bits. Nothing is a copy, but using the word "copy" for us is better to understand it.

In case of the soul, when it is destroyed, being a good soul or a bad soul. NOTHING will exist..NOTHING..not even the angels. However it is Allah that is the all existing, He has no beginning and no end. He is the all powerful, we cannot say well it is a copy and not the original anymore when He recreates it.

Because we tend to compare things to our way of understanding things, however the things Allah does, doesn't go by our logic. For example we know that Allah during some part of the night "descends", but by the word descends it means lowering from above to lower altitude, however we do not know exactly what this is meant by Allah's understanding. By our understanding is He getting near to us, however it is NOT how we understand it.

    Another example.

"And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein" Qur'an 50:16

jugular vein is something already with our body so to say, so how can Allah be even more near? With this we say Allah knows best, because we cannot understand Allah, we ONLY understand Allah in the some of the attributes He has given us we know Him by, however still with a limited understanding.

The 99 names of Him. One being the all wise. I know what is wisdom and i sometimes hear wisdom from some people, but EVEN this wisdom Allah has granted them. So the amount of wisdom Allah has, i cannot comprehend. How come? This He also answers it in the Qur'an.

"Nor is there to Him any equivalent." Qur'an 112:4

We KNOW in this case what is wisdom, but the amount of wisdom one possess..with Allah this goes beyond our comprehension, because when we tend to compare the amount of wisdom He has, we tend to compare Him, however He says "Nor is there to Him any equivalent"..so in other words we cannot understand the amount of wisdom He has. Because when we even say "amount" we tend to brand a certain limit on His wisdom, so again this goes against "Nor is there to Him any equivalent".

So Him destroying a soul and bringing it back, isn't by OUR standards, it is by His standards. In this world with the example you used you make a comparison with worldly things and how things go..data being copied. However YOU are talking the Rab of ALL the worlds. OF EVERYTHING SINGLE THING..from the biggest creation..to even the most smallest creation ever made.

Nothing is impossible for Him to make. Another name of Him being the Creator. How He destroys things and brings back to EXACTLY the same as what He first destroyed. I know only One who knows how this is done and that is my Rab that i put my head on the ground for, as He is the One able doing that and ONLY He is worthy of my worship.

The answers to all our questions Allah already answers them. With non-Muslims for them it sounds like a contradiction, rather it is FAR from a contradiction. Like i already earlier pointed out in this reply, Him making it clear to us to Him being NO equivalent as when we tend to compare something we look at something that comes near to the thing we are comparing it, however with Him there is no comparison.

There are simple words, as far as i know Christians nor any other religious groups has these words. When we say "Allah knows best", this besides truly pointing at One Who really has the answer, it also shows it to ourselves that we are limited, but also making Him worthy of our respect and also being humble to Him. Also when saying this, you make it clear to other people of other religions, Islam already has the answer to it, i may not know the answer, but my Rab WITHOUT A DOUBT knows it.

So this also puts a lot of courage in us and takes away all our doubt because i have NO fear of NO ONE on this earth, i do not fear them based on my limited knowledge, or limited wisdom or limited power or limited whatever..because i know that as long as my Rab is pleased with me, He will not humiliate me and will be my protector and support me when i pursue His path.

These answers you already have, just turn to Him in humbleness and ask for His guidance and He will give you them. I am no better than you or anybody else on this forum in knowledge or wisdom, understanding or whatever based on what i know of you or will come to know of you nor are you better than me or anybody on this forum in knowledge or wisdom or understanding or whatever based on what you or me knows of this. Only Allah knows which one on this forum on this earth is better than the other.

All the knowledge and understanding already comes from Allah so seek rather with Him, it is also BETTER for your. In these critical times, people tend to give you answers that YOU are pleased with, NOT what Allah is pleased with. Or sometimes they tend to give you answers that you are put in even MORE doubt. As there are a lot of imaams that will say "do not ask these questions..these are from sheytan". While Islam is not shy of questions at all.

I know what you mean by all powerful and stuff I understand he can do whatever he wants but if somthing doesn't exist anymore when you recreate it it may be the same thing same characteristics same everything but that doesn't mean it's the same thing because the last one is gone what I was trying to say is we are going to be gone if he recreated us that's not the same us it's us as in the memory and actions and everything but that wouldn't technically be us we ourselves who are in this body wouldn't be able to live to see that so that answer doesn't really help me but I'm starting to understand what my step mom and dad gave me allah blew into us and that's our soul and whatever he blew into us is a part of him technically so that means that our soul cannot be destroyed it can only go back into allah so that means that we are probably stored in the same place where we where on his arsh we just are asleep maybe allah wouldn't destroy everything if it wasn't possible to punish the original sinners because why punish some soul that may be the same person but not from the same existence my point tho was yes that's gonna be me but doesn't that mean that me gets to go to jannah for everything I do and I get to just die but never mind my dad and step mom answered it if you have a better answer the that go ahead or if you see any invalid logic in that answer you can go point it out

Brother re-creating something is only a word. Allah has no limit in creating or turning back or whatever.. You tend to look at things as something being destroyed and creating it. When i destroy my table and create exactly same table..it is a copy. But again this is by the standards of this dunya. You cannot compare how Allah creates things or "recreates" things. That is why i tried to tell you that you are comparing His abilities, which is being contradictory to Him what He has said about Himself. That is when it comes to.."Allah knows best" how this is done but He is FOR SURE capable of.

Allah swt will destroy all his creations and also will recreate. How? we don't know. These are the secrets of Allah swt.

    Allah swt is all powerful.

    Re: The soul

Omnipotence being what it is, an omnipotent being is not bound by what we understand of logic and reason or even paradox. Being all powerful, if Allah creates something, then recreates it, it doesn't inherently mean it is copy, but rather the exact same thing, just in a different orientation/situation.

For example, imagine there is a point in time you were pulled from now into five years in the future. You have no idea what happened in that five years. For that five years, you basically didn't exist, and then suddenly you did again. You aren't a copy, you're just you in a different point in space-time, having skipped the usual manner of getting there. This seems to be the same basic concept, except with the terms "destroyed" and "recreated" instead of time travel. So it seems to be less a copy, and more of just taking a different route to arrive at your destination.
