Is it halal to use weed??
Weed is used by many people..However if you have "reuma" (rheumatism) often weed is prescribed by your GP. Is it halal to you use weed as a medicine?

For rheumatism? I've heard of it being prescribed for other things.
If memory serves me right an intoxicant can be used if it is prescribed as a bona-fide medicine for treatment and nothing else will work.
I think weed would come under the idea of pain relief. I strongly doubt if it would be considered a bona-fide treatment if that is it's only purpose.
