I always wondered whether Muslims are allowed to support the lgbt community. My mom says that you shouldn't because it says so in the Quran. The problem is that I have friends that are in that community. Now I'm not sure whether I should be friends with them and I don't know what to tell them.
I had another thought that included the hijab. Let's say a man is gay. So that means he's interested in men. Does that mean we should wear the hijab in front of them? But the other side is that let's say a female is lesbian, interested in women. Would it be necessary to wear hijab in front of her? I know it sounds weird but I was just wondering.
Lol no way men do not wear womens hijab we do what is prescribed in the shariah. In the prophet (saw) there were living breathing gay men walking around but when did he (saw) ever wear a hijab..
Also you should pick your friends wisely advise them also and as muslims we are against the advocation of the lgbt movement

You cannot support the LGBT community because you're supporting acts that are forbidden in Islam. In regards to having friends, to be honest, it depends on the friends. If they are openly gay and commit wrongful acts, then you should not be close to them, because again, it's supporting what they do. Friends are a reflection of our character, and it's better to make like-minded friends, or those who will help us in our deen. We are either influenced by our friends, or they are influenced by us, and it seems as if you are being more influenced by them since you were gravitating towards supporting the LGBT community.

You will have to wear the hijaab in front of both. Even if you are in the presence of a blind man, you will have to wear it. When it comes to lesbians, or nonMuslim women, it is better to wear it because they can describe your appearance to other woman or men, or you can create a fitnah between yourself and them if you know they are attracted to women. The hijaab is not just for purposes of modesty, but rather because Allah ordered us to wear it. It is a reflection on our iman not on someone else's.

If some man says he is a gay, you can´t never be absolutely sure if he really is what he claims or that he hasn´t also bisexual feelings. As sister charisma wrote, better to use hijab.
They (gays and lesbians) both go against the natural disposition (fitrah) which Allaah has created in mankind – and also in animals – whereby the male is inclined towards the female, and vice versa. Whoever goes against that goes against the natural disposition of mankind, the fitrah.
The crime of homosexuality is one of the greatest of crimes, the worst of sins and the most abhorrent of deeds, and Allaah punished those who did it in a way that He did not punish other nations. Allah talks about this sin and people of Lut r.a. in surah [al-Hijr 15:72-76]
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever you find doing the action of the people of Loot, execute the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.”. Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheehal-Tirmidhi.
Generally a woman can go without hijab in front of other women, Muslim or other wise. But if it fear that the other women may describe her looks and body to others then it's not allowed to uncover in front of her, be she Muslim or non Muslims. And with lesbians, it's a given fact that she takes interest in a female body like man does so it would not be allowed in front of her either.
