    is this fear or worry shirk

    Report bad ads?

    i saw a scene in show and i heard screaming after action was in the scene. the person screamed i had lights off then i looked behind as i was scared or thinking there was something paranormal. is it shirk to have a worry or fesr of ghosts or paranormal in a moment of being scared or startled.

    I guess fear in anything other than Allah is a form of shirk as it is only Him who has the power to let something harm you. But it is also human nature to be scared. Basic psychology ya3ny.

    It's only shirk when you really believe in that ''Monster'' like that he actually could harm you.
    But if you remember Allah (s.w.t) it won't even get near to shirk, because you also remember the Power of the All-Mighty.
    I actually had to deal with the same problem, but now I know what to do when it comes to such a situation: Seek refuge by Allah from the cursed Shaytan.
    He causes that unrealistic fear.
