Salaams,
im new to this and would kindly request advice please.
ive been married for 5yrs alhamdulillah and have found this Taweez in black writing couple of years ago which I never really looked into as I didn’t think much of it.
I did ask my husband what is this and why is it in our room - he said it’s for protection. I said ok but why in our room he said mum (mother in law) put it so I didn’t question after.
One day a conversation was bought up about this with my sister in law and mother in law as my sister in law found it under her bed. Where as mine was above my husband side of bed in the cupboards tucked away on the side. My mother in law reply was it’s for house protection and just overall protection. So I thought ok and it got forgotten about again.
I’ve always had a bad feeling about this. But was to worried what it could be. I personally don’t believe in things like this especially if it’s protection as the only person we will be protected by is Allah SWT.
I don’t know how to attach an image of it (please guide)
You can take a picture and uploaded to a site like imgur.com and share that if you want but i don't think it is necessary.
It's best to destroy the amulet for a number of reasons. First and foremost, it being haram and shirk. secondly, regardless of what others claim you really don't know why it was put there and for what purpose. Thirdly, often times the intention and purpose is never good and especially for the person it is given to.
If an amulet is made with something other than Qur’aan or du’aa’s narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), or if it contains symbols, mumbo-jumbo and strange words that cannot be understood, then there is scholarly consensus that it is haraam and constitutes shirk. But if the amulet is made with Qur’aan or du’aa’s narrated from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), then there is a difference of opinion among the salaf, but the correct view is that it is haraam.
The scholars of the Standing Committee said:
The scholars are agreed that it is haraam to wear amulets if they are made with anything other than Qur’aan, but they differed concerning those that are made with Qur’aan. Some said that it is permissible to wear them and some said that that is not permissible. The view that it is not allowed is more likely to be correct because of the general meaning of the ahaadeeth, and so as to prevent the means that may lead to shirk.
I know you said it isn’t necessary but I still went ahead and uploaded as I would still like to know what this could actually mean if it’s for me or for my husband.
Salaam sister. I also don't have a good feeling about this. If you did a google search of black majic in Arabic you will find similar images in the search. And Allah Knows Best

That looks lot like magic with those tables and numbers. I would get rid of it inshallah and recite your ayatul kursi and last 3 quls daily to keep you safe from such evil.
I agree with the above users, ta'weedh are haraam.
I know that in South Asian culture, they are very commonly worn or put around the house. I used to wear them as a child but when growing up and after doing my research, I have stopped wearing it.
It is impermissible to wear amulets and the like with the intention that they are somehow going to protect you. Only Allah can protect you, not the amulet, and believing this is shirk.
If you want to protect yourself, you should read the morning and evening adhkar which were narrated by the Prophet:
`Uthman ibn `Affan (Allah be well-pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him and give him peace) said, “No slave of Allah says in the morning every day and the evening every night, ‘In the name of Allah by whose name nothing in the earth or the heaven can be harmed. He is the Hearing, the Knowing,’ three times without that ensuring that nothing will harm him.” [Abu Dawud; Tirmidhi]
BismiLlahi’lladhi la yadurru ma’asmihi shay’un fi’l-ardi wa la fi’s-sama’i wa huwa’s-Sami’u’l-‘Alim
You should also read Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq and Surah Naas three times, as narrated in a hasan hadeeth:
Mu’adh bin Abdullah bin Khubaib, narrated from his father, who said:“We went out on a rainy and extremely dark night, looking for the Messenger of Allah, so that he could lead us in Salat.” He said: “So I met him and he said: ‘Speak’ but I did not say anything. Then he said: ‘Speak.’ But I did not say anything. He said: ‘Speak.’ So I said: ‘What should I say?’ He said: Say: “Say: He is Allah, the One” and Al-Mu’awwidhatain, when you reach evening, and when you reach morning, three times, they will suffice you against everything.’”

~ And who is better in speech than someone who calls to God, and acts with integrity, and says, “I am of those who submit”?
Jzk for all your responses and advice - means a lot.
Is anyone on here that can translate or give me some sort of brief information please abt what it means or states.
If not I be very grateful if you know anyone that can translate it? Numbers to contact even.
Again, I know I should just destroy it but it’s eating me up inside why, what and who it is for?

Sometimes it's best not to know but to discard it and forget it.
