It's pertaining to someone I'm close to and this person has had a long bad history of so many not good things that has happened to them or and has done to themself. How do I get past these things that I know of them? Yes this person doesnt go thru it now but it has affected the person up to now psychologically and mentally. I say my problem in the title becuz I have to deal with it pretty much for the rest of my life.

The best way to deal with it is, obviously you'll be giving her? Good advice about not to worry and not think about these bad memories etc, and you too shouldn't think about these awful things as thinking about bad things distresses us and effects our well being.
Forgetfulness is a great blessing so try not to think about any of them and tell the effected not to dwell on them either
